1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AEGIS Compliance Platform operated by AEGIS AI Cooperative LLC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

AEGIS provides an AI-assisted compliance assessment platform that helps organizations evaluate their security posture against frameworks such as NIST 800-171 and CMMC. The platform analyzes uploaded documents, generates gap analyses, and produces SPRS scores.

3. Not Legal or Compliance Advice

The platform provides automated assessments to assist your compliance efforts. It does not constitute legal, regulatory, or certified compliance advice. AEGIS is not a C3PAO and our assessments do not replace official CMMC certification assessments. You are responsible for verifying all findings with qualified professionals.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the system
• Share account access with unauthorized parties
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our AI models or algorithms
• Resell or redistribute platform output without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload. We retain ownership of the platform, its algorithms, and generated analysis frameworks. Assessment reports generated from your data are licensed to you for your internal use.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AEGIS AI Cooperative LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
